For those thinking of getting the 600 Sport, PML got no more stock for now. Next shipment is about 6 months later. Only left the 650 GT now. Even the Sport display unit has been sold.

 

Only left the test-ride unit. But if you need loan, interest rate will be above 4% cos it's considered a used bike.

Yes, indeed. This group is way too quiet. Even the previous actives are not posting anymore. Read that they might hv moved to WhatsApp group.

Wasn't much to add, since I got it 2nd hand. But, did add Grip Puppies and pimp up my rims.

The C650 Sport styling does look like the lines flow better, compared to the current C600 sport. And yes, most of us have moved to a whatsapp group..

 

There are plenty of accessories available, and i do mass orders to bring them in every now and then.. Our next order will be at tbe end of next week for brake pads..

went down to PML today to check out both Cs.

 

OTR price for C600 Sport is almost $30K! COE at 6112. Only got SG50 promo of 1.5k less :(. And only until end of Aug.

 

But don't like the lack of storage. And putting a top-box on the Sport model just makes it look terrible.

 

As for the GT, OTR price will be above $30k, before promo. And even with bigger storage under the seat, I will still need a top-box. Reason being, i need space for 2 full face, plus 1 laptop bag that fits a 14" laptop. So a top-box is a must, regardless Sport or GT model.

 

What's really holding me back about the GT is the ride height. I'm really on my tip toes on the GT. With the Sport, it's slightly better, gives me more confidence. I've had a Jap 750 sports tourer in the past where i was really tip-toeing and ended up dropping the bike a couple of times :(. So i'm really trying not to get myself into that same situation again.

 

Anyone here with the GT who has a top-box installed? Does it weigh the bike down and give it a slightly lower ride height? Or a Sport model with a non-BMW top-box installed?

I'm on a H&B Xplorer top case. So far, it provides me with a great amount of storage, and doesn't affect my riding much.

Alas....i didn't go for the scoot. Too long a wait for the 2016 version. Plumped for the 2015 R1200R instead. Just got my COE, with a slight top-up. Targetted delivery date is before 10th Nov.

 

So the whatsapp group is only for the scoots or just all BM bikes?

Any idea when the 2016 c650 sport will arrive in pml? Really love the color and the new design. Plus traction control as stock! But still abit split between getting a f700gs or the c650 sport.
