Lacquer over stickers?

Hi guys, anyone got experience in spraying their bike?

 

I've got some stickers decal on my tank and fenders, like simple racing stripes. Would it be a good idea to spray a coat of clear lacquer over? To protect the design and all.

 

If so what brand or type should I use?

the spray can at hardware shop...will be a dissaointment...

spraying lacquer is much much harder than paint...

 

unles you have pro help...stay away..

i feel that spraying over the decals wouldnt do much harm to the decals, instead it will make the decals shinier. but if you plan to diy, please make sure the area that you have lacquered over does not get in contact with petrol when pumping your bike, if not it will smirch you tank especially.
