Hi, i just got my class 2B and im looking for my first 2nd hand bike.

2 choices:Ktm Duke 200 or Yamaha R15 V1 /V2.

The Duke has a higher "scrambler" style seat position, which may be hard for you to get used to.

I would think the R15 is better suited for you, as it is more of a "standard" sports bike style, easier to get accustomed to. It's also marginally less pricey than the Duke, even for repairs and spare parts etc, so less heart pain in case of drops or falls (touch wood), especially since you've just gotten your 2B.

Best bike in my opinion for 2B would be a Phantom TA200, Easy to ride, cheap and reliable, also wont look ugly with box.

Usually best is dun buy from shop, because thats their business, they sell to you have to earn and profit from you.. Much cheaper to buy second hand from other people, you can look around on sgbike used bikes ads. Best if you got a friend who knows about bikes. Bring along to see any potential bike to avoid getting a bike with probs. Lastly, the most impt, always relax and take your time before you confirm anything, don't see nice shiny bike then immediately "I want it now!". There might always be a better deal the next day, only proceed to confirm when you are REALLY REALLY sure, after all you will be the one riding it.
