My sp has a very low idling sound.

Hi all, my sp has a very low sound. Its has a very weak move off. At gear 1, 1-4 rpm it has a very slow acceleration.

When i throttle, my engine has a very weird toktoktok sound. My friend told me my poor acceleration was dued to carb not properly set.

When to a bikeshop and told them the problem. Told them i wanted to service and tune carb. They went to throttle and immediately say that my conrod got problem. Vibrating alot which causes the weird sound. Told me i had to do an overhaul. How much would a top overhaul cost? And how much would a FULL overhaul cost? because they told me if full overhaul is 1.5k, and if overhaul all except block is 800 plus......

P.S. Don't send for overhaul unless you really need to. It might just be a small problem. Avoid unnecessary spending. If you know a good bike shop at JB, then try over there. Might be cheaper if you go with someone that's familiar with the area.
