in terms of finance wise which is a better den the other? understand that rvf is a pretty gd bike but e age is catching up on it whereas the Z spare parts/access. are costly.. so wuld like to ask consider e repair/maintenance on a rvf compare to maintenance/access. of a Z.. which is the one thats gonna put a big hole in pocket?

I'm currently riding a DRZ, and I would say it's not costly to maintain it at all. Lots of parts and accessories are available in the market. 2 liters of Belray Thumper EO costs about $40, and I chose to change it on a monthly basis. A bike that can serve u well on both road and track.

whoever that advice u drz is expensive to maintain prob never rode one before. parts are easily obtainable, and accessories and power upgrades are never ending. DRZ engine is bulletproof if u do proper basic maintenance like oil change etc.

Naturally age is one big factor.. But I'm kinda curious what is your preference for DRZ and RVF?

Totally 2 different kind of machine.. Single cylinder Vs. V4 engine..

Sitting posture also very different.
