Browse thru the manual and find out which tools & sizes you need and you can build up a tool kit related to your bike.

Get those chrome vandium types so wouldn't rust tat easily.

A visit to your regular mechanic will help alot in advicing what are the tools you need for your bike.

Then visit changi point or northlink building to get your tools, as for the filter and engine oil, proceed to kelantan lane...

Spanners - 8, 10, 12, 14, 17

Spark plug wrench

3/8 inch ratchet and socket set

Screwdriver (Philips and cross heads)

Pliers

Long nose pliers

Side-cutters

You can find these tools at most hardware shops. Try Homely or All-Tools (google for address) for a good selection of everything.

Personally I go for Stanley or Sellery tools. Avoid cheap tools, as they cause more grief than savings. Look at Snap-On if you are feeling rich. Very rich.

I started off my 'tools collection' by fiddling with my bike over time. As time passes, you'll learn what tools u need for ur bike. You probably won't/rarely need half the tools mentioned in ur service manual, but it's good to go through it and get a rough idea.

Common things u'll probably need: Spanners (8, 10-15, 17), screwdrivers (+ and -), allen key set, cutter, pliers/monkey wrench, black tape, duct/gaffer tape, and loads of cable ties. It is also a good idea to keep some spare bolts, nuts, lock nuts, screws and washers of sizes that u're likely to need.

Try not to buy every single tool that u perceive u're going to need - just buy those that u'll need to use often. For those lesser-used or special tools, which are also often the more expensive ones, u can always borrow from ur workshop.

Homely is a good place to get quality or uncommon tools. Mustafa also has lots of choices for lower quality tools.

In my opinion, Homefix and other hardware stores that u'll find in shopping centres, are overpriced.

i got the standard tool set (the very bare minimum) for both Y125Z and KRR150 from ah boy. Tool set include a screwdriver, spanners size 8, 10, 12, spark plug wrench/opener and plier. Cost ranging from $7-10. You may want to check if ah boy has a set for your bike
