Hi, my bike COE is ending soon and it is not in a very good condition so i intend to scrap it. I read in other threads that it is recommended to ask bike shop to scrap. Is there a way to scrap the bike on my own without asking bike shop to do it for me? Is there a cost to ask the scrapyard to scrap my bike? What are the steps to scrapping the bike myself?

Thanks for the help, really appreciate it.

Go to lta and get ure pin first. If u going to strip ure bike, strip then go lta. Need ure engine casing and body frame only. Cheapest is if u scrapping as a whole bike. Some shop will do it for u free. If not have to send to scrapyard ureself and they process for u.

so many have asked on the forum, but the answer is extremely SIMPLE.

just CALL-LTA. ask them about everything you want to know. clear all your doubts. understand all the steps. they will tell you EVERYTHING. they have to. cause they are PAID to. Q.E.D. ( Quite Easily Done )

PS EDIT: always remember that what LTA say is OFFICIAL, what we say is only our own advice & opinions ie. boh pak kay.

after that, just Do it!

Scrap bike can go to bike shop. They can do for you but must pay a certain sum to them of course. Alternatively, Can google scrapyards in Singapore then go to any of them in Tuas or Sungei Kadut area to scrap yourself, Save money that way:)
