So I enrolled in bbdc. Cleared my theory lessons and rtt.

Went for my first prac and failed it.

Reason, I couldn't even balance on the bike.

Went again and failed it badly.

A little about me. I've a class 3 license for two years.

I've Never cycled on a bicycle before.

What should I do?):

Practice. Also, don't look down, look where you are trying to go. Don't lift the left leg off the ground until you have moved off. Don't put your left leg on the peg until you have a little speed, use it to balance the bike at very low speed. Once you get more comfortable you can put it on the peg earlier to avoid demerit points for "dragging" your foot. Then when you get your licence and start riding around, you can go back to dragging your foot like almost everyone I see on the road. :) But I digress - bottom line is PRACTICE, it will come.

Yes bro try riding master bicycle balance in the meantime.

Also control your half clutch technique moving off, when bike is balance, half clutch technique

Once u feel bike is moving forward lift up your left leg and grip tank with your tights gently

Sure will master this in practical 1 lessons and get your 2B one day.

Be confident

They will teach you the 7-point riding posture. It will be hard to do them all at this stage, but if you can, it'll solve quite a lot of balance issues. Especially the thigh kiap fuel tank part.

RIDE.

Go for it! If I can balance on the bike so can you. I am only 155cm and have problems even lifting bike off mainstand. You can do it! :thumb:

Follow your heart even if sometimes it means losing your mind.

I personally think bbdc is a good training centre. Just ask the instructors n they will gladly help u. Dun feel shy or demoralised when u hav to repeat the lesson. I believe they just wan to help u n ensure tat u really ready before going to next level. :)

Sorry for digging out this thread..Like TS, I also had problem balancing myself on the bike..I am not very tall, and it somehow creates fear (leg can't really touch the ground easily)..Will be going for the lesson again this week..Hope it will be better this time round..
