Hello everyone, sorry for being noob, i have no bikes yet. But was thinking of getting either SP or RXZ, i personally like SP more, but will just like to ask u guys out there, i have heard ppl saying that SP needs alot of maintainence and must keep go service, is it true? If i only buy SP and just use it for transport instead of keep chionging that kind? also must keep service and need to spend alot of money? Hope u guys can tell me more about SP and RXZ. THANKS ALOT GUYS!

the problem is pple dont maintain their bike, tats y need to change alot of parts la...

SP can use as transport, can use to fetch chai also... but what u mean by "chionging" ??? coz SP also quite powerful.. look nice... i find SP is cheap to maintain... EO and 1 spark plug nia...

now SP alot very old already, so its honestly quite difficult to find 1 that is in good condition... follow ur heart, if u prefer SP, get SP, if u prefer RXZ, get RXZ...

alot of people will say they wont 'chiong' when they have their bike..

most of them do in the end....

speaking from experience...

lolx!

as previously mentioned...alot of people just pass use SP..so the upkeep of the bike might not be as good as before....

so u have to really be careful when purchasing one...every 2nd hand bike comes with its own set of problems...but u will have to find one that will cost the least to repair and able to let u use for a long long time...:thumb:

no $ to repair bike?

My advice to you is don't get a bike.

Take public transport better, and its cheaper.

Owned NSR 150 SP as my first bike. Used it as a transport bike.

When i first bought it from a black listed shop, i keep returning to the shop for 7 times in 1 month. After goin to another shop to diagnose my SP, everything goes well for more than 1year till i upgrade to a class 2A bike.

SP is a good starter bike. After that unpleasant first month, the bike served me well with no problem at all. I change gear oil every 5000km of distance traveled, check spark plug once in a while and replace it if needed.

Reliable bike and a reliable workshop who revive my SP and good workmanship + good customer service & sound advice where i still visit for any repairs.

Now SP can be consider an old bike but with a reliable workshop, SP can still be good, provided with regular changing of gear oil and replacement of worn out parts.

Price of spare parts are quite affordable be it original or after-market.
