always heard bout ppl buying coe rebate, wads tht actually?

Dun tink it's applicable to bike, only to cars.

COE rebate is paid to the owner in a form certificate instead of cash to the owner when he or she scrap the car before the COE expires. As it is not in cash, owner can only offset it on his or her new vehicle purchase. If he is not buying a new car he can transfer it someone who is going to. Thus creating a buy sell situation. Yes it is applicable to bikes too! Ppl seldom do it because bike COE's value is much lesser than cars.
