Seems like theres quite a number of comet in sg.. Gaban, your shop dare to do hyosung bikes?? I need to change my timing chain.. Cant find the tools anywhere.. My friend dont dare touch hyosung bikes..

u mean heng motors at changi rd? u can try. so far, nver done major servicing aside from minor electircals, braking and other stuff. i think i need to change either brake fluid and my rear disc brake. luckly u cleaned my carb. who knows wat might happen if u didnt in the long run. maybe i one fine day i'll do the anti rust tank coating.

Gaban just called me from pagoh.. Hahas.. Saying about him going 140.. Better than before.. He needs exhaust.. Im still looking for shop to do my bike and shop to do my exhaust... Any welder to recommend?? Ph, im thinking of doing the exhaust in jb.. Should be cheaper..

Yh you can try spc for the timing chain. Only Look for ah Chuan. Anyway how much you think your exhaust work will cost?

About 100 plus.. If my calculation is right, it should give you more top end.. Kj sms me, but i dont have time for anything this week.. Hopefully next sunday i can take halfday off again..

Next Saturday we are leaving for the GL recce... KJ wanna meet you before we go trip on 18th... Hopefully i can do the handle bar and brake fluid change before that too...

Bro, friday i free after my ippt in the morning.. Lets do on friday afternoon.. Now im tempted to get new gt250 for very long term use.. Since its fuel injected, i dont think there will be much carb or rust issue.. The tail is like suzuki tail, smaller.. Should be able to put side box for touring.. How gaban?? We tour russia with 250?? Everything quite cheap for this bike..

The squeaking sound turn into a clicking sound now. Lol. and after i hit 80km/hrs the sound will disappear. -.- shldn't be the engine i think maybe something came loose.

im back from weekend trip. heres wat i just found out. my analog meter is quite accurate. cos on my way back, i followed a group of johore big bikers gang. i maintained my speed of 140-140+km/h for 75km. a goldwing followed me behind all the way. when we took a break, the goldwing uncle told me that seeing his meter, i was riding at 140-140+km/h. i was kinda shock and he said he didnt lie.

 

the 2nd thing is that my bike can maintain a constant speed of 140-140+km/h for 75km. ive tried dat just now. its tiring especially on a naked 250. i can reach 150-160 but i dare not. for those who like to cruise 120-140km/h, get a hyosung 250!! its beter to have 2 piston with higher cc capacity. in this case for me, i dun need a digital meter anymore, for now....

 

btw, bro yh, can i place order my rectifier/regulator now?

Don't think i can go ah boi, but i don't know if they got sell our brake lever... Why don't you just order with Bro YH from Hyosungsource? More cheaper you know? Saturday wanna tag along to Gunung Ledang from 7am to 7pm?

Not sure lei.. I was thinking.. At least the 250, i can keep very long.. Can use for touring, transport rather than a 125.. Anyway, i now trying to upgrade the headlight wiring for brighther headlight.. Hopefully can do before the trip also... I got night blindness.. So sianz.. Guys, hyosung parts come already.. Liquid clutch cable, gaban airfilter, clutch and throttle cable..

Gd, gd. Friday night eh? See how. Maybe I come after 7pm. But I need to leave early and have a good rest for the next day trip. Those who are going, KJ, PH, please wear proper safety gear and have enough rest before the trip. If got gps, bring along too. On the day of the trip, just relax and enjoy the ride but dun 4get to be wary of the surroundings around u also.

 

YH, can u replaced my 2 trottle and clutch cables? I also need to replace back my air filter to stock and tune my carb again. I know it feels good when riding at high speed using the mod filter. But Id rather stick to stock parts this time around.

 

btw, i just realise dat we have YH, PH, & KJ. all short names. hehehe.

U got the tools to cut the handle bar? Can u check my brake fluid also?
