Waterproof boots for wide feet

Presently I am looking for a waterproof touring boots. However most ofthe shops that i visited does not cater to those with wide feet. Do you guys have any recomendations on any particular brands or shop that carry such boots. Thanks.

European brands (especially Italian) tend to have narrower footbeds. So generally you're not going to like Gearne, Dainese, TCX and SIDI. Alpinestars is known to be slightly wider but still only medium width. Try American brands like Icon, Teknic, Tourmaster, Cortech.

 

There are always exceptions, though. I recently bought a pair of Dainese Fulcrum Goretex and it was a great fit out of the box. I have medium to wide feet, and can't wear Puma or Gearne at all. My advice is to go to all the shops and try every model you are interested in. Don't be shy. For waterproofing I strongly recommend Goretex. It's more expensive but its well proven to be the least stuffy and most waterproof of all the membranes.
