went to ah chong there changed oil and filter.

saw one main frame broken 1000k6!!

this k6 hit a Malaysia Kawasakie KIPS' tail, the KIPS' rear wheel bend and dented, swingarm seems ok to me.

but K6's main frame broken at the ram air intake there. Both side broken and the whole head fall apart!!!

freaking hell, K6 is damn weak sia!!

the rider still left 20+k installment (rode for 3 months nia), he no $$ but want to ride big bike, hence he buy only 2nd party insurance, think this time he sure in deep sh*t liao...

insurance not cover, and broken main frame=totaled.

pity him sia, suddenly i feel like our bike may be old and heavy, but atleast it won't break into 2 parts when kena hit. louis' old bike kena hit by lorry only bend swingarm nia...

i took some photo, will upload tonight...

isit the owner's bike here?

anyway i've seen many 04-05 R1 which crashed on the sepang track during MSS races. always the sub-frame break and the ram-air intake smash to bits.

but so far i see those ppl replace the front end ram-air frame, no problem for the R1. its actually a detachable part from the chassis.

not sure about suzuki though, but ofcos older bikes are very very durable in this area. from our handlebars/forks/chassis/engine covers, the thickness is 2x thicker than the new generation bikes (but ofcos that is why our bike weigh extra 20kg)

last mth in malacca i was weighing my front forks with a CBR954 forks. my 1 piece for is the same weight as 2 pieces of the CBR954 forks liau. :cheeky:

wah, this is expensive lesson sia...

the bike cannot be repair liao, frame cannot be welded back and need to change to a new one.

LTA will confiscate the bike if they found out the number on the frame different from the Log Card (this is provided your fren can get a second hand frame).

your fren still need to pay installment without the bike to ride sia...

he should think properly before buying brand new big bike and gets 2nd party insurance... :giddy: :giddy:

btw last time i did ask from eversuccess, to buy a CBR600F4i chassis... they said the chassis can be ordered from honda factory in japan. just bring along log card to prove ownership, n they will prepare a chassis together with the chassis number stamped by the factory in japan... costs abr $3k++ if i'm not mistaken...
