today give u rest mah... pity u yesterday have to carry so many carrots go home. must be very heavy lor, u finished eating it oredi ? :D :p

i saw one cbr1k at planet bike shop..

the main frame crack along the slider area..

all new bikes got hollow frames inorder to save weighs.

actually all bikes got hollow frames... even our old bikes also hollow frame.

just dat the new ones have a very thin aluminium frame compare to our old ones. beside that, our chassis can flex more than the new ones, dats y bike feel heavier. bikes like 929/954/1000 have a very rigid chassis... better handling but canot withstand bigger impacts.

Guys i maybe wrong

but i think installing the sliders weakens the frame upon hard knock?

the impact on the slider might play a part since the slider is

fix on the frame?

actually the sliders are used to protect the fairings upon stationery drop..

and the screws play an important part too..

by rite the sliders screw should give way when the slider experience certain impact, and not stay wif the frame and drag it misalight..

some "chiong" slider provide those screws that will not give way..
