Its actually a reservoir - quite beautiful with clear water and a cuple of hills in the waters.

 

Made my way there about 4 years ago - got thrown out. Its a restricted area.

Yes it is the reservoir

 

but i do think there is chance to go in just that we have to get to know someone there....

 

because we talk to the guard there....

 

he say we cannot go in that day because their big boss in that day....

 

so i think if go at the right time maybe can go in .....

 

anyway the view outside of it already very nice....

Anyone interested in jungle riding ???

 

I just came back for sg petani ....

 

and get to know a guy who org jungle riding

 

(only one in the world for rain forest).....

 

but will need to have min 4 - 8 people for one trip...

 

Park our bike and than rental bike from BK bike shop there....

 

 

and it have different level of track for riding...

 

but i think better try to easier track first before trying the hardcore....

 

But pls no CC for this jungle ride...

 

will sure be fun for people who likes outdoor

 

And Jet-ski 4 hour river ride

 

4 hour may seen easy but it's not as easy as u think..

 

also need min 4 - 8 people....

I will like to go for my dream ride to the high land of china.....

 

in one to two years time.....

 

anyone have any information for share ????

 

I got the infomation that

 

crossing from any country to any other country,

 

all info can just go to AA singapore and ask them to check for us

 

As a friend (BK) i got to know during my pinang trip

 

he will be riding to london soon....

 

and he will pass by china and other country along the way...

 

from wat i hear from his planning is it will take him 3 month time to reach london..

 

and after i hear that i think my dream ride is chicken feet

 

compare to his ride to london....

 

which also tell myself that ride to china is not as hard as i think it is...

 

just need some time and money to do so....

Do you mind sending me the route u take to the reservoir, so tat I can transfer to my gps. I use the Garmin 60CS and I think u are also using garmin with malsing maps rite? thanks very much!

maybe post a standalone thread "Riding to China anyone?" - more catchy. Sure to catch attention of those who gone there.

 

btw, thailand got no common border with china, only myamar, vietnam & Laos got. Means riding to china got to pass thru one of the countries , probably laos (shortest). Northern thailand --> northern Laos --> China yunnan.

 

I think there's a guy who did ride up to Laos on his R1. But i bet road conditions on laos road is probably hell for the bike suspensions.

For this part i also know... i plan to go by Lao....

 

To start a thread jus for china trip abit too much liao

 

and the thread will die very fast.... cause i think not make people will like to ride to china....

 

but a few ba...

 

so i think of opening this thread to gather people who like to explore new place....

 

mean time gather info for thailand and lao .....

 

if have china too.....

 

i will know to know more about where to find cheap stay....

 

i don wan to spend too much on hotel...

 

and also can post exploring trip here also to get more people .....
