Handling no different.

I move my mirror to the front.

So I fill up the original mirror screw hole with a bar. Can use the bar to mount GPS, cup holder etc.

Initially i could not mount back my left mirror after i mount my bar . I had to improvise with getting a longer locking nut for the left side.

My mirrors are at the original place.

The system is "compression fitting" so you need 2 open-end*fork's to disassemble, and for assemble you need only 1 fork.

Mounting:

First unscrew the top nut and next mount the lower compression fitting part into the steering and tide up the lowest nut.

Then you put the mirror into the compression fitting and calibrate the mirror as last you tide the top-nut.

Wish you all the luck you need, cheers Jan ;)

Hi Jon ,

Thank you for looking up my post.

The bar end thickness for left side after slide thru the lowest nut , there wasn't much room left to tide , that was the reason i had to improvise to get a longer one . i think i did an ok job with it though . It is firmly in place .

Oops I misunderstand, now I readed more carefully and noticed that you have also mounted the bar.

I had kind of same experience after installed the ram mount beneath my left mirror for my Garmin gps.

The ram mount was to thick so I removed a view millimeters of the thickness.

Which model? If it's the old grand dink I think better replace early. If it's the good quality ones for dt300i and x citing I think can replace later, so far mine is at 22k and still going alright.
