If I'm not wrong, they told me that for the next batch they're bringing in yellow, matt black, shiny black, brown/maroon and white.

shiny black is Kymco color: "NH359PA Pearly Black",

I have seen before, sorry but I haven't a good picture.

Cheers Jan

edit:

On page 20 you can find pic of shiny version

Thanks J@n. I'm pretty sure I'm in a bigger dilemma now. Both colours look good. How like dat.....

I think all the colors r nice. Chose one that you yourself prefers.

Harry is right....all de color has their own characteristics.... i nearly took a matt black but went for the yellow cos im afraid de matt get stained if i dun wash de bike for a prolong period. For glossy just wash n wax..job done lol

Hi everyone, this is my first time here. I'm riding a Honda Spec 2 now and its now at its tail-end of its once-beautiful life. I can't go on forking out so much just to repair so many leakages, rusty parts, and etc. Almost like my poor bike is on drips now. As harsh as it sounds, I have to part ways with her and decided to get a new bike, in particular a scooter. Glad to have read almost the whole thread here before deciding on Xciting 400i and I'm very impressed with the passion of the members here and the well-thought-out comparisons (with other scooters like Maxsym). Also impressed with the salesmen and manager at the showroom. I made a booking for an Xciting 400i today @ Motor Sports.

Yellow is too striking, white is too close to looking like an "enforcement" bike, and shiny black is too close to the colour of my present bike.

I'm now torn between getting the "matt black" model and the "maroon/metallic brown" model. I will be very grateful if any of you can post pics of the bike in these 2 colours. I've tried the internet but can't seem to spot these colours.

Cheers!

Congrats on getting a seXciting. Do join us for Teh Tarik and prata sessions to learn more about the scooter and upcoming riders. Next session will be on the 06 December 2013. Keep a look out here. Cheers.

Hi..

Just take my xciting 400i yesterday,

1. Whats the max speed allowed during running period?

2. Need to install rack for my coocase box, any recommended shop?

I was informed that i need to replace the mineral engine oil once my mileage reach 300km? Then to change to semi synthetic oil at 800km, follow by fully systhetic every 5000km..Is it true?

Please advise.

Thanks.

Welcome to de sexciting club lol.

Running in is very subjective. Some dun even run in their bike. But he general rule is not to exceed 5k rpm during run in and avoid keeping constant speed all de time which i read on de web lol...

U may wish to buy de rack from the shop u bought yr bike.

Recommendation is 800km, 1600 n 3200 but i change mine at 500, 1000, 2000 n 3000. 2 mineral n full syn after dat again its subjective. Personal preference i guess...5k oil change is recommended by manual but whether or not to follow is upto individual ma...like i change mine every 3k..

Welcome. Do join us for teh Tarik and prata alternate Fridays. In the meantime enjoy your run in. Follow the manual if you are unsure. Recommended by the manual to do compulsory oil servicing. But it's up to individual, had mine changed at 800km, 2000km which I changed to fully synthetic engine oil.

On my hunt for the Xciting 400i service manual, I just came across the "Xciting 400i Periodic Maintenance Schedule"

So far this is the best part of all!

Hi Jan,

I've tried to access the file listed above but the website states that the file "has expired". Wondering if there's another way where you would be able to share the file with me....thanks!
