Hi everyone, I can't find a comparison between the 300 & 400. May I know what are the differences (if any) between the two models?

I dun think reliability is an issue here. I have rode de bike to ipoh recently and de scoot still feels good after de trip. Crushing speed was kept at 130 -100 km all de way. We also have ppl riding all de way to hat ya I and no problem from their bikes too.

Parts are generally cheap compared to their Japanese counterpart except for the belt which is about the same price cos I heard they using premium belt for this scoot. Was told the belt last ard de range of 40k km.

Maintenance is cheap too each oil change 1.5l of oil. Each transmission oil change of 200ml at 50 interval. Fc is quite subjective cos it depends on factors like riding habits, tire pressure etc but generally about 25km/l range on average for me lol. I'm not a speed demon but I dun ride leisurely too...

Apologies, I didn't realise that both models had such great differences.

Would it be possible to fit in a full face helmet in the underseat storage?

Comparing ride comfort (for long rides) between the two?

Ideally, I would want to spend as little as I can, and wouldn't mind buying 2nd hand (is the 400 available 2nd hand?)

Would the 400 be a significant upgrade over the 300?

bro... 400 newer.... ridability is SO MUCH diff...

Difference like SGD1k~

space..... if u want big... Consider Downtown or Sym joyride300... Xciting generally more sporty. Space not as big.

I have ridden both bikes and yup they are totally different. Engine, bike frame, clutch system, body all are different except for the front fender.

I have never store a helmet in De under seat of 300 so I can't confirm this but u can with de 400 no problem.

400 wud oso b more comfy due to the more upright where u can lean against but I can't feel de backrest on 300 at all lol.

Sadly there isn't any used 400 at maybe the bike is still new? Of cos it is indeed a significant upgrade from de 300 to 400. The fc on 300 win over de 400 tho giving an average of 29km/l.

Hi guys can I check with those who have changed from stock to YSS suspension. Any marked differences? Much better than stock?

Sent from my C6833 using Tapatalk

Presently YSS no have shocks for the 400. Bitubo had already came up with one. Cost $1215 if I'm not wrong. From Kymco SG fb page:

- Underseat storage no problem. I can easily put a XL Shoei flip up and rain coat in to the compartment with no problem.

Comparing ride comfort (for long rides) between the two?

- Can only tell you about the 400. It's comfortable except for the suspension. It will fad out after a distance of riding especially if you ride 2 up. Short distance around no problem.

Ideally, I would want to spend as little as I can, and wouldn't mind buying 2nd hand (is the 400 available 2nd hand?)

- A 2nd hand one also will not be cheap maybe about 1-2k cheaper. Its unlikely to have a 2nd hand one around. Somebody by the nick if vtec looking to sell his. Maybe you wanna pm him.

Reliability no an issue. I had ridden 5-6 Kymco and most of the time spares no issue. The spares are relatively cheap compared to Japanese and European scoots. FC depends on what are you up with?

Downtown 300 - 30 km / l

Xciting 400 - 240 - 260 km
