Dr Pulley Sliding Pieces.

What is the weight of the original roller?

Standard Oem rollers are 17 gram

Dr. Pulley, I took are 15 gram (11% lighter)

Hi, I got mine today too from MS. An excellent ride so far. Amazed at how quickly it gains speed. Still getting used to the left lever being a brake rather than a gear clutch.

My Downtown 300 is using 15.5g. I ran dr pulley sliding pieces with 16g and found it too light throttled and wish they make 17g-18g instead of 16g max.

Throttle was very light like it was 14g original roller(I would imagine) with the dr pulley 16g. I wanted the same response as original roller but with lower running rpm.

The throttle was so light and quick that i found myself accelerating hard all the time. Not good for fuel economy ha ha.

For you to run 15g will be very very quick and fast response at the expense of fuel economy i guess lol.

DownTown is standard 16 gram

I had Dr. Pulley 14 gram (11% lighter) in the DT and that was about perfect.

Indeed full consumption could be a little higher (FC 1:24), but performance was much better,

besides I cant's test it yet since I'm still waiting for the Xciting to come.

The Taiwanese dude over there compared them all with the final result that 15gram is about OK.

So after I took notice of that I ordered my Dr. Pulley sliders

Hi guys, I need some advice. Is it necessary to run in the bike? If yes, what's the max speed I can maintain and how long should the run-in period be?

When I go slow, I tend to doze off, especially at night. Dun know if I can keep going like this...

This is a very subjective topic. Some will swear the bike nid no running in. Others will tell you if u want yr bike to last, better run in.

Manual say dun exceed 3 qtr throttle but how to measure? For me i din go past 5k rpm until i hit 1500km n try to avoid contast speed as suggested by some web site. End of de day, nobody knows if de bike is properly run in unless the engine is stripe to inspect the piston. Dats y i say it is a subjective topic.

For the safest bet, follow the instruction in your manual n try to determine how much is 3 qtr throttle. Otherwise, not exceeding 5k rpm shd do u fine.

I rode mine about 100km/hr the rpm still did not touch 5k.

Do you already have the rack? If not i suggest you to take a look at the floating rack sold by MS. Its neat and nice. U can also pm corrado in this forum. He has a new shad sh45 to let go.

Shad 45 must cup 2 open face together.

Shad 48 will be good for 2 full face helmets.
