slow shutter speed is what u need.

aperture depending on the situation, but for this one, due to the direct sun facing me, i reduced the aperture down to f19.

was at 10 kaki bukit road 1, saw an add for cheap bell and bieffe helmets, price range is 60 for bieffe and 80-100 for bell. Why cheap? Old stock and lining spoilt, cost xtra 20bucks to fix. I went there so so la but the lady was nice and so did her favour by providing free advertising. The shop is beside motoworld. here's the link if anyone interested.

Hi fellow NUS bikers.

Din know the clamping problem is quite rampant in your campus too. Over in NTU the situation had been quite bad last few months but after all that "scratch the rims" exercise for both cars and bikes, the regular offenders think twice before parking on unauthorised places. I understand that our campus security just purchased new sets of yellow clamps. They used to have only a few. But now they have reloaded their stock. :weep: I know this because Im a regular offender.... in the past.

Sometime free must organise some ntu/nus meeting. Any bros here ok with that?

It depends on where you have ur lessons. But one place not to park ur bike in NTU is the car park in Canteen B. Its a nightmere for bikers as there are only abt 8 legal lots there. Most of the time, we will park at the side on the double yellow lines, or on the kerbs. But riders park at your own risk. And also drivers should not park their cars there too as its very cramped in there, 3 of my friends had their cars scratched and dented by some drivers.

The advantage NTU has over NUS in terms of bike parking is not the number of lots or the location of lots....

Its actually the easy of travel by foot in NTU compared to NUS. Unles NUS, which is 'organic in design" (i.e. all the building anyhow hantum according to historical/space constraint reasons), NTU's architecture was 'pre-determined' and carefully designed from the ground up.

If you are willing to walk a bit, the spoke and spine design of NTU (e.g. North and South Spines) can allow you to park some distance away and still retain some level of comfort for walking; there will always be a lift or elevator from level 5 to basement 5 somewhere if you know the way. There is always parking at the bottom of some spine or spoke somewhere if you're willing to walk a bit.

Not so in NUS, where invaiably you end up climbing hills by stairs and all kinds of gymastics. Also the bike lots seem to be 'arranged' in no logical order whatsoever. I've been in both organisations, and this is my opinion...
