ok guys, here's the bike update...

 

my bike is severely severely wrecked...the engine aspects i mean..ok, here goes, my repairs include..

1) piston

2) conrod*

3) block

4) valve

5) cam sap*

6) local arm

7) gasket

8) top up EO

9) spark plug

*means the word sounds the same as the ones i spelt cos either he cant pronounce properly or i cant hear properly...

 

look at the attached pic, my piston is totally totally KO....the pic on the left is my piston, the one on the right is what a piston suppose to look like!!

terrible right??...one of the mech say my EO almost empty..but i juz changed it juz a month ago and only rode for 1300km...he said bcos my piston like that thats y EO finish fast...

 

omg.. :faint: .. sigh.. well.. i guess.. wad u can do is go with the $500 and use it about 2-3 years more.. or... u can get 2a and change bike... ehem.. ehem.. i think u noe where i'm leading to...

 

anyway.. like wad haikal says.. better change original parts.. and ask them for receipt after repairs.. so if anything happen, go back there n screw them.. its pretty peculiar that ure fren said he did a top overwhaul recently b4 ur purchase and yet the mech didnt forsee any problems with the bike at that time..

 

from wad i know, phantom can do good up to 140kmph.. well.. all in all..

 

..~ we still had a fun time right? few months down the road.. we are all going to laugh this off..~

actually ok lah hafiz... in comparison.. if ure riding a super 4 and if u total ur piston sets and block plus shafts.. estimated repair price will be around 1.8k ++ ..

 

my fren did an overwhaul with 2nd hand top block and piston sets.. cost him 1.3k.. but then this is apple and oranges...
