No problem with changing insurance company. Do note that your NCD does follow you when you change insurance company.

so if i sell my bike away and then buy bike insurance again after some time will my NCD reset to 0% ? Or the only way to keep NCD is to change bike only

For every complete policy of a year of insurance, you are entitled to 5% of NCD.

 

Can be accumulated to maximium of 20% only for motorcycle.

 

Your NCD will not be reseted to zero unless your policy is 1st party aka comprehensive and you claim your own policy or is claimed by others.

 

You can hold on to the NCD for a year without transferring it to another new policy.

 

You'll need to keep track of your own NCD and make sure you inform the insurance company while you making a new policy so that they can include it for you.
