I am sick of the fumes whenever I am riding beside a lorry and bus. Would bros here wear one similar to Respro techno? And how much would you be paying for one?

Hope this survey can shed light on my quest to get a reasonable priced mask for our better health while riding

I would like to wear something to cover my nose. but as riders , i dont think mask is a very good option because it hinders our sight especially specky like me. I wish there is a nostril filter that I always see on tv movies. whether it really exist or not. not sure

sorry . your poll say the mask price. is this type of mask N95 , surgical mask or others.?

The mask will not in anyway hinder the vision.

Something similar to Respro . If you can google it, you can check the design will not hinder anything.

What prompt me to get a riding mask is that I am a ex-smoker, but the smog I am inhaling on the road makes no different in me quitting.

Especially the recent case of our neighbouring country giving us a hard time on the road. I tried N95 , but the hold is not so well. But the color change after 2-3 days of ride is worrying. From white to brown..

Even in normal days, whenever after a ride, you try to wipe your nostril with a tissue. You get what I mean on the stuff we are actually breathing in.

I been riding since 1998, guess its time to make up for some lost time for my lungs.

U using it?

I am sure it offers some sort of protection

In this case , its like LAB helmet vs Arai. You get what you paid for.

I prefer Arai and will not use other brand other than Arai.

this looks interesting. But seems like more for house hold usage.

I been checking out lately, researching abit.

Seems like fumes are much smaller and need a filter that block smaller mircon

And I was at KK today, saw a notice inside the lift - the next big thing that could hit us - MERS

Better get a stylo mask that could use for riding and hanging out in mall. Lol

Covering your face only give u a sense of conception that you are protected but in actual fact , its not.

And you already mentioned its a neck scarf, not a respiratory filter.

End of days , its your choice and health. As I seen my workplace workers using towel to cover their nose while welding which is not appropriate at all. End of the shift , I saw 2 brown spots on the towel where his nostril is...

The purpose of this poll is to see what would be the price we are willing to pay so I can get a better feel to bargain with suppliers. And thanks all who contributed and commented.
