yo john. average for full tan kshld definitely be more than 180 before reserves. just ask the rvf gang here.. they will tell you the same lor... range from 200 to 240. the gas consumption depends a lot on the riders riding seh. you got always rev at low gear that kind or not? maybe you shld do liek what ken does lor... ride at 90 6000rpm that kind. i use to have the same problem too when i first got my rvf (dry clutch micron exhuast) 180 kena reserve liao... then advised by my mechanic to service cab, change air filter... now full tank can last 210+ before reserve!! you shld try it man! but dont be sad lah... high performance racing bike is like that one mah.... you wan fuel economy shl dhave taken super 300km+!!!! :giddy: :giddy: :giddy:

DLM??? when??? :dozed:

:p IMO, z rated tires have stiffer tyre carcass than h rated tires because supersports bikes have much more torque being produced and a stiffer tyre carcass is needed to handle it. thus a 400cc bike might not have enough horsepower and torque needed to create sufficent friction to effectively heat up z rated tires. u might be able to heat them up in our local hot weather , but during cool weather or rainy days? and tyres need to be fully warmed up to be at their best and do their jobs. ;)

:D Agreed. You just need to ride ride harder. Tyres warm up mainly by flexing. Once warmed up, what i said applies.

wat type of tyre is suitable for long distance?

 Try something one step down from pure race tyres.

Like Michelin Pilot Sports, ME03/04, Pirelli Dragon Evos, BT012.

You would find at less committed riding, they will give more than enough grip.

For ultra long distance, try touring tyres. :D

Does your air intakes have the proper screws and clips to hold it in place? :?

If it's loose, it's usually cos there's no clip or the mounting hole is broken.

but is a 400cc bike able to produce enough torque to fully warm up a Z rated tyre is an issue. IMO, perhaps need a MUCH longer warm up period but rainy days is a problem for that. :?
