went to alexandra there, walk her walk there then saw "goggles"/headlight protector/cover(or wadeva u guys call it.... black in color. Like those super black visor for nova helmet u buy from LAB. 2 piece, each got the wordin RVF. sellin at $45.

is it way too eXpEnSiVe???

cheh san, the shims if u wanna do, u do at sporting when u do valve bah, dun open twice.

 

i always forgot to ask him, if u happen to read this, sms me tml b4 evening to ask me to check with him.

dude...the Shims and the valves are same thing la!! the shims are above the valves..the mech just add shims to whichever valve that is measured out of limits.

so when i say valve clearance to Mike, we meant the SHiming job. iz oso called valve clearance check. they mean the same thing.

I beg to differ.

 

The headlight protectors are installed to protect your headlight. Would you rather change the headlight protectors ( 45 bucks in this case ) or change the entire headlight ( A couple of hundred bucks )? These headlight protectors can be quite useful at times.

 

But it also depends on whether you go Malaysia regularly or not. Singapore roads are usually cleaner ( Less pebbles etc ). Unless you enjoy riding behind a big truck full of granite pebbles.

 

Evil is just unlucky. Or should I rather say he is just too loaded? Poor guy like me will remove the headlight protectors when I park my bike at any shopping centre, especially if I spot any bike of the same model. Don't create the chance and they won't have the chance. =)

I agree. cos I dun hav a box(most of us dun hav too! ) so, when ever we park our bike, we'll take the helmet along, I dun think it take alot of effort to take out the 2 pieces of protector & put it in the helmet.

Some of us will bring a helmet bag to carry the helmet, there'll oso be ample space to keep the protecter.

45 bucks is not too expensive. Last year, I was quoted 60 bucks for them. Hmmmm... Sometimes, brand plays a part in the pricing too. But I cannot remember which brand I was quoted. Hope this helps.

yesterday one of my handlebars end plastic covers was STOLEN!!!! nahbeh!! this kind athing oso wana steal! i notice my Rear Seat Key rubber oso half way kena kiao out...think the thief was unsuccessful!!

 

walao....nvr cover bike for just one nite, this kinda thing happened. damn suey. but now i got myself a set of carbon fiber balancers...heeheehee/.....
