BASICALLY IT IS A STOCK BIKE. WHEN I REACH THE BIKESHOP LOOKING FOR BIKE, JUST HAVING A GLANCE AT THE RVF THERE IS ONLI 1 WORD TO DISCRIBE... WONDERFUL... PREFECT SHOWROOM CONDITION WITH NO RUST ON ANY PART, WELL POLISH END CAN ext ext....

 

BUT KNOWING THAT ITS A 10YR BIKE AND FOR SURE THERE WILL BE WEAR AND TEAR, MIGHT COSTING ME A BOMB IN REPAIRING.

 

NICE OUTLOOK IS THE GREATEST TEMPTATION FOR PURCHASING BIKE AND NOT KNOWING ON THE ENGINE PERFORMANCE

Ask a fellow RVF friend, or an advisor knowledgeable to look and test the condition of the bike. Maybe throw back the question to the bike shop why it's selling cheap? And also you have to know whether there's any hidden cost or agreement fees etc

COE? Ask whether there's documents proving that it was extended for another 10 years.

 

Bring a friend knowlegeable in 400cc sportbikes. Have the salesman switch it on; your friend have a go at the throttle, brakes, forks & rear suspension -- better still, ask for a test-ride.

ask for on the road price instead. they add this add that add transfer also dunno add up will how much.. i kena cheated on GST before, thus i didnt get the bike from the bikeshop, and went another bikeshop for it. lol

MACHINE + COE =$7200

 

AGREEMENT FEE = $85

 

INSURANCE = $429

 

(OTR) = $7714

 

THIS SHOULD BE A GOOD PRICE. I ASSUMED. SINCE OTR IS THE GIVEN AMOUNT, SO THERE SHOULDNT BE ANY HIDDEN AMOUNT TO BE PAID.

HOPPING TO HEAR FROM MORE RVF RIDER WHAT HAVE THEY EXPERIENCE AFTER BUYING A 10YR OLD BIKE. ANY MAJOR AND MINOR PROBLEM THEY HAD FACED?

FP plate meter should be go at least 1 round already - be prepared for wear and tear maintainence.

 

Everything look bling bling could mean 2 thing. 1st is that the previous owner really take such good care of the bike. Alternatively, the bike had a major change of a lot of parts (fairings esp...) due to reasons like a major accident. Look for some tell tale signs on parts that are unlikely changed like scars on the main frame or the pro-arm.

 

Other than engine, I think its important to check the rear shock, fork, brake disc, pro-arm and the overall bike alignment (mainframe with the pro-arm and fork). These are parts that are very expensive to replace/repair, not mentioning the issue of safety here.

7.2k with coe very cheap le.. somemore u say in showroom condition means paint new...

 

but beware those FP plates one.. they say coe renew hor.. some will wait till coe expired then renew for u...

 

tat day meet a guy, he say shop sell him with coe, so he coi.. but the bike haven renew coe la.. then when reach coe, shop say they say no such things on paying for coe.. shop oni say they can loan u $$ to buy coe when its up..

 

very lame things.. so best is black n white!!! don even trust shops.

WA.. THE FP PLATE WHICH I MENTION ABOVE ALSO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS UR FRIEND LO.. BIKE SHOP UNCLE TOLD ME TAT COE (GOING) TO RENEW, NOT RENEW NOW COS HAVEN EXPIRES.... REALLY GOT TO ASK FOR "BLACK N WHITE"
