I planned to go off for honeymoon ride to many parts of Thai....100% solo with my wife as pillion :)

We'r newly wed couple...typing this post on 11am 21/8/2013 , planned to go off from S'pore ard 4pm++...

 

Bike = Honda Super Four CB400 Vtec 1 ,year 2001

Expected Average Speed on Highways= 140-170kmh

Touring Experience = More then 160,000km mileage calculated for long distance,40,000km short distance/city riding of 3 motorbikes since i got liscence 5 years ago. 1st bike Wave 100 year 2006 , 2nd bike Yamaha FZ150i , 3rd bike Current CB400 V1. Currently almost every week ride S'pore-KL-S'pore as i study at KL & work in S'pore on Weekends.

 

Places planned to visit(In ascending order)=

Melaka / Penang / Satun / Krabi / Phuket / Ranong / Chumphon / Hua Hin(Prachuap Khiri Khan) / Chonburi(Pattaya) / Ayutthaya / Chiang Mai / Doi Inthanon / Mae Hong Son / Pai / Chiang Rai / Golden Triangle (enter Laos w/o bike just for d purpose of Thai visa renewal) / Sukhothai / Hatyai / KL

 

Today stop at Melaka for a short pit stop at my mom's kampung, then go off to Penang Island, staying overnite at my friend's Condo

All the best to you and wife. while I admire both of you for taking the adventure, personally I would like to take it slow and easy. why after just being married, would you want to take such a journey.i pray and hope for your safe journey. ohhhh. where is your mom's kanpung in melaka??
