Hi Guys,

I believe in the market now, there are 4 type of michelin pilot tyres.

Namely:

Michelin Pilot Power 2CT

Michelin Pilot Race

Michelin Pilot Sport

Michelin Pilot Road 2CT

May i get reviews frm users who are currently using the tyres ? especially in terms of durability, dry and wet grip.

I'm expecting prices to be at around 300+ for 1 set with balancing and installation. Actually i'm looking at a set just purely for commuting purposes only. Thus i would guess the Road 2ct would be my ideal choice but nevertheless i would prefer reviews from users first before i make my decision.

Thanks guys

If only for commuting, Pilot Road is just fine. No need 2CT. Why spend unnecessary money for unnecessary features?

You will not be able to exceed the capabilities of the Pilot Road on the roads.

Past: KDX200, LC4 400, LC4 620, GSXR750WR

Present: CBR900RRY, Gas Gas EC250, XR250L, XR250RV, XR400 (motard-ed), NX650 Dominator

I'd like to ride on your thread if you don't mind, angeldogleslie.

Would like your recommendations if i'm doing 50% road, 50% track on a motard.

I've narrowed them down to either Michelin Pilot Power or Michelin Power Race(or a combo?)

Appreciate any views on this.

Thanks & Cheers!

hi..1stly..the tyres u mention are 1st gen & 2nd gen tyres..michelin no longer produce sport n race..it is now taken over by pilot power n power race..is there a power road?i hv nvr seen it b4..i hv use michelin for all my biking days for the past 3 1/2 yrs..only 1 word..GOOD..but it also depends on ur style..if u do nid for commuting purpose..u can use either pilot power or sport..only diff like u mention is 2CT.but seriously i wld recommend sport...grip wise on dry rd..is gd...wet rd..it all depends on the rider..if a rider tinks his tyre can grip like dry rd on a rainy day...gd luck to him..but the pricin that u r looking at..300?is there such cheap prices ard? i believe the price range for pilot power n sport is abt or near $400 for 400cc and $500+ for cl 2.the pilot power race n pilot race tyres cost abt $500+ for 400cc and abt $600+ for cls 2 bikes. which class wld u belong in? althought michelins r more expensive..but they r gd tyre..saved mi a few times..or rather..alot of times..haha...gd choice..but dun expect them to b cheap.. in tyres..every cent count...pay abit more for tyres to save ur life..or pay more for repairs n less for tyres... think abt it... Cheers pple..

Michelin Pilot Power 2CT

Michelin Pilot Race(H2 for 400cc) (H2/M2 for cls 2)( best tyres man)

Michelin Pilot Sport

Michelin Pilot power Race 2CT
