hi, anyone using the bt 39ss and the normal bt-39? give some comments and preference as many of us would choose between them and the price diff is quite high between both of them.

Looking at the ride tells everything about the rider

I think this topic has been discussed many times before.

There is not much ( if any ) difference between the SS or non SS Bridgestone. The only issue is that some sizes exist only in the SS series. They are all made in Japn anyway.

But if you really want good and durable tries why don't you use the Dunlop TT900 GP ( Made in Japan).

But if you are again saying this is way too expensive then perphaps you shouldn't be asking for any advise with regard to tyres and just use those tryres that are made around our region like by our Thai & Malaysian counterparts!

AND THEN RIDE CAREFULLY AND SLOWLY! :D

Just my thought no offence man..

why dont spend the same amount of money on better tires?

Althought, Dunlop and Bridgestone have difference technology, concept and manufacture..

Bridgestone has repeatiblely improve on their tires due to high demend of user and be competitive.. especially in Race.I , personally use Bridgestone for yrs since I got my bike... and have TRUST for the tires.

Yes, Dunlop has tires made in Jap... and thai. But their compound is difference.

it the matter of rider atituide and usage. :thumb:

By the way, I do like Dunlop too...

Just sharing, ride safe

BT39ss is a softer compound .. means more grip and also wears off faster den the BT39 .. and BT39ss only got few sizes .. go to bridgestone's web and check for the avilable sizes

dunlop tt900 (japan) cost the same as battlax bt39..

my battlax doesn't wear out very fast lei.. i used it for more than a year clocking more than 20,000 mileage then the center wore out.. and this is for my rear tyre only.. my front tyre still using now.. i think its how the rider use it that counts.. if u use it for long distance, make sure u play corners too so that ur tyre won't be squarish.. :faint:

2nd thing, don't buy japanese made tyres from LAB!!

hahaha.. just my 2 cents.. u are all welcomed to flame me.. :)
