learning bike: need to get my own accessories not?

just enrol via online on ssdcl, wondering if i need to get an prroved helmet, jacket and gloves myself or the driving centre will lend me me thiers....

i believe they still provide the basic items but i would suggest getting one yourself. The helmet there very smelly due to sweat. Anyway if u intend to get a bike no harm getting everything first.

 

There is 1 shop in woodland and i find the items there not bad. I got a Trax helmet from there last month with PSB sticker for $35. Size XL if u're interested can sell u for $20, use only for 1 week cos i got 2 more spare.

Think its called helmetboy. If learning no point getting a jacket, cos too slow, u'll probably get a heat stroke. Raincoat maybe more practical

 

i'm wearing formal also, riding a Piaggio x8 so after rain splash don't get on my pants and no need to change gear to destroy my shoe. Jacket yes, wearing the army gortex rain coat. I once had a branch hit my chest damm pain, and its just a small branch.

 

My ride just for commuting. Anything more than 90km/h it starts wobbling from the wind.

After you pass you should get a jacket. Probably from regina or motoworld cos they stock proper ventilated jackets with padding and stuff. And shift socks if you're gonna get a manual bike.

just get gloves and helmet. school helmets super smelly one..

 

your school package will give you the elbow and knee guards.

 

no need for raincoat all that. school has raincoat and you don't usually need to use it
