Sakura Restaurant, Downtown East

Singapore, being a food paradise, is well-known for its wide array of delicacies. As such, buffets which offer an extensive spread of delectable food fare have become many ardent food lovers' choice when dining out. If you are also a food-enthusiast, Sakura (a member of the Suki Group) is definitely a place which deserves your patronage.

Since the opening of its first outlet at SAFRA Tampines in 2003, Sakura has become a popular dining place for buffet-lovers. Due to the overwhelming response, Sakura has thus opened its second outlet at Blk 190 Toa Payoh last December. Now in 2004, it has marched into the open arms of Downtown East.

Embracing an international cuisine concept, Sakura serves up to 100 different varieties of Japanese, Western and Chinese foodfare everyday. To briefly entice you, appetizers include fresh oysters, lobster salad, mussels, prawns and sashimi. The main entrées encompass an assortment of dim sum, Teppanyaki (Include lamb chop, salmon and beef), tempura and grilled unagi. A wide selection of mouth-watering sushi will also be prepared on the spot by the chefs for all consummate sushi fans. Last but not least, desserts such as cheesecakes, fruits, ice-cream and beverages complete the buffet with a satisfying touch.

If you are an ardent food lover, you would simply love Sakura for the sumptuous spread they offer. Just sashimi itself, you get to savor nearly eight different types such as salmon, swordfish, amaebi, octopus, tuna etc. A word to mention, freshness is guaranteed at Sakura as the food such as Teppanyaki and sashimi are prepared on the spot by the chefs.

Judging from all the above, it is without a doubt that Sakura is definitely a worthwhile place to dine at. With all these palatable dishes waiting for you, do not hesitate; make Sakura your choice today.
