Since a very long time ago, people have searched for the meaning of love.

 

But even the great philosophers, with their profound definitions, could not fully touch its true essence.

 

I guess love isn't easy to understand and it is not meant to be understood alone.

 

Many others will abuse like what u said, love.

 

"I'll still love you when Singapore snows"

 

"My love for you extends to the other side of the world"

 

"I'll only love you. Only one"

 

All these are quotes or should i say, others treat it like a make-up phrase or templates to please each other.

 

Love can't be measured. It can only be experienced with your loved ones. I been through relationships and i can compared which one is more "loved". I can gladly say that at least i learnt more about loving and to be loved now.

 

I heard this once.

"Love is that first feeling you feel before all the bad stuff gets in the way."

haha. i truely believe that.

 

SOme might even say this, "Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."

 

Or some funny yet so true, "Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your french fries without making them give you any of theirs." .

 

But to me, love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don't yell at him because you know it would hurt her/his feelings lor. the meaning of love is up to individuals.

 

But remember this, to bros and sis here who are broken hearted, lonely etc etc. You never have to be lonely. There's always somebody to love, even if it's just a squirrel or a kitten. Your parents, friends etc. So dun feel so lousy when u see pple with their spouses hugging and teasing. Cause one day, u'll be like them.

 

And i could go on and on and on. So do cherish your love ones. But cherish within your limits. ANother phrase, pple getting married for 7 years also can get divorced. So, let fate decide but still, you have a part to play.

 

Ending off, "Love can be broken. But it will never die"
