That's some cool product... it may look pretty ex for some plastic.

 

How about looking it from another perspective? The product may cost $300. After X number of years of usage and the paintwork gets rather chipped and blurred. You decide to sell. How much difference would a "protected paintwork" bike fetch compared to a "non-protected" one? What if your bike have other undesirable aspects that can also reduce the re-sale value; would it matter if your paint-work is protected?

 

If it does not matter, then I'd say save that S$300. However, if you decide to keep the bike, then it will worth to protect the paintwork.
