Sure Archie!

I intro myself for starters.

I am 29 yrs old, working as a Project Coordinator for SP, maintaining all their facilities in Central S'pore. My riding experience is about 3 years, previous rides include NSR 150 SP, KTM 200, XR4 and my current S4V3. Just passed my Class 2 in May and now taking Class 3. Then I can drive my family Vios sian cha bor liao. Woohoo!!! :cheeky:

I now stay at Tampines St 32, used to be the property officer for this area for the Town Council. Before moving to Tampines in March 05, I stayed in Eunos Crescent and Kembangan. I am a vehicle technician during my NS days. My Hp no is 97431260. I am a regular smoker/social drinker. Hmmm... What else har?

I am easy going and friendly. I will gladly coordinate any gatherings, movies outings, kopi sessions, JB trips, bike washing or DIY sessions for the Eastern S4 brothers here in the near future.

But first need to check out the responses of the brothers here before proceeding.

:cheer:

:cheer:

very good history report you got there...hehe

and see that you have passed your riding tests so fast....very good ah

about myself very sianz..... me passed my 2b license after 12 TP tests...imagine that lah!!! first 10 TP test was taken at SSDC....imagine from test bike HONDA Raider to current test bike... very good experiences I had...

then I switched to BBDC and lucky I passed 2nd time taken.....*sigh

* got my first bike RS125....fast and furious hehe....went to KL several times , malacca and johor...

class 2a , tot after 3 years riding, easy2 can pass so I went to SSDC coz probably the distance from pasir ris to amk but again sianz I think so I switched again to BBDC....passed liao 2nd take...hehe

* got superfour VS .... ok2 lah....went to malacca and johor...

* change to Vtec1...very good....never go to johor before...coz of work commitments too much

class 3, again very sad thing.... been trying even before I took my class 2b , till NOW I have not been able to pass.... not that I have given up but financially, broke lah now.... so I postpone awhile...(thinking of going to where else but BBDC to take my class 3 there)and my family car is same as yours lah...

:help:

class 2, probably before year end ... take straight at BBDC together with class 3

but first, must work and work to finance em.....

:bounce:

p.s. royston...i see that your background as a vehicle technician really helps with your bikes eh?

Yo wishman2!

No lah! My knowledge of vehicles and bikes not say very good even though I was a mechanic back in army days. I specialized in repairing LARC Vs, those vehicles they use now for Duck tours at Marina? I repair some Rovers and Tonners there and then, but overall I just have a basic concepts of the mechanics behind the vehicles' parts, engines, etc. Electrical matters, I totally dum dum. Haha! :cheeky:

I took 2 attempts at Class 2B, 1 time for Class 2A and 1 time for Class 2. I hope to clear my Class 3 in 1 attempt, cause very expensive leh, 1 lesson at school costs $64, not inclusive of GST. :giddy:

If I never go take Class 3, I already buy the Yoshi full system liao. Now really bo lui liao! :weep:

I buang and kissed the road a few times also, 2 times on my SP, 1 time on my S4. Heng heng minor injuries only. :cheeky:

For your Class 2 TP, word of advice here. You just go through the test items in a calm manner. No need to do so good one, Figure of 8, Crank Course, Narrow Course, etc, just go through it, slowly but surely, mai kena immediate failure, can pass liao! My Bumpy course, crank course a bit slow and buay zai, but I made sure I just go through it without any immediate failure. Deduct points sure have but at least won't fail. Last but not least, I reminded myself not to come again, army motto: Do it right the first time and relax. I saw some really confident riders taking their Class 2 or 2A, warm up time really very good for all the courses. Some end up pushed their skills to the limit and buang or fall off narrow plank, etc. Hai!

:cheeky:

Brother wishman2! Take it easy, slowly. Sure can one!

I use to have my younger brother accompany me with his XR4 until recently when he ended his riding days by buying a Toyota Vios 2 months back and selling off his bike. Now I am really a lone rider. So sianz!

Most of my friends drives, fewer and fewer of them ride liao as age catches up. Double sianz!

That is why I am trying to gather a group of East S4 Riders to hang out with, share knowledge with, etc, the least try to keep my passion for bikes alive and away from peer influences to stop riding and start driving.

I am learning how to drive now but deep inside my heart I felt, nothing beats the feeling of riding loh! Even my brother after driving for 2 months plus liao also admit that riding is better!

I shall intro myself too.

I am 21 years old going 22 this year. Currently serving NS in the navy. Perviously riding Aprillia rs125, kawasaki kibs,GSX-R400 and now S4. My riding experience is around 2 going 3 years. Going to take my class 2 this feb and hoping to change to yamaha R1 if possible. Got my class 3, 2 years ago. All licence taken in SSDC, all one time pass quite soon soon li li all except for one class 2B took me 3 times.

Although i drive, i dun really like it and prefer riding. Main reason is because i find driving very hard to check blind spot for bikers squeezing in and out, cannot squeeze in heavy traffic and also not ez to change lane like bike. Also i like the power a bike provide and for a car to provide such power is unless u pay a damn big amount of money.

I will gladly join any gatherings, movies  outings, kopi sessions :thirsty: , JB trips, bike washing or DIY sessions. Provided that i am not sailing and hope to make it.

Yo man, i pump at Esso at 2nd link.. Formula 1 rates at $1.61 per litre.. Normally my bike left only 1.5 litre when reach there.. so i pumped about $26RM...

But if wanna go there, be warned cos no money changer at nite.. I normally got a spare a few RM and petrol use Mastercard.

Yeah man, hougang to gelang patah is indeed far but for me riding is always a pleasure.. furthermore with lesser traffic, it becomes less of a hassle...

Also... yes no money changer but be warned avoid paying by card around midnight coz the bank is closing their accounts or smthing and i had to twice pay them in spore money lor... their rate is about 19RM - S$1!!! so juz make sure have some money spare to pay...
