Hi ESR,

 

Let's list down the line of activities we can have from now till end of the year. Feel free to be the or-kui-ni-zer :cheer:

 

1. Mid-Autumn Festival gathering - this Friday 28th Sep??? Anyone wanna contribute mooncakes? (pref veg or halal). I heard the cakes will have big discount after tonite.

 

2. K.L. Briefing

 

3. Geylang Serai walk walk eat eat at the Hari Raya Pasamalam - before Hari Raya Day???

 

4. Hari Raya Open House???

 

5. K.L. Trip - 20 to 21 Oct 2007

 

6. Fun At West - Jurong Swimming play cum Ice Skating cum visit Potty Factory cum Devils bring all go lunch at NTU cum bio xmms (who ever wrote this pls orguinize hor)

 

7. Tree Planting Day - 1st Sunday of Nov (Origin of this day )

 

8. Little India walk walk - 8th Nov Deepavali Holiday - another potential LWE (since we been to gaylang serai and chinatown to squeeze but not tried little india before. Joanne can be tourguide)

 

9. Moobeee: Resident Evil 3

 

10. ESR PG Track day

 

11. MAMBO NITE @ Zouk - any Wed (shall we do this just for once? :lol:)

 

12. Christmas celebration - 24th Dec, Monday - Venue TBC (any suggestions)

 

13. New Year Countdown - 31st Dec, Monday - what do you guys/gals wanna do??

One joke that nv failed to amuse me everytime i read it..

 

A man was walking along a California beach and stumbled across an old lamp. He picked it up and rubbed it and out popped a genie.

 

The genie said, "Ok... You released me from the lamp, blah blah blah. This is the fourth time this month and I’m getting a little sick of these wishes so you can forget about three. You only get one wish!"

 

The man sat and thought about it for a while and said, "I’ve always wanted to go to Hawaii but I’m scared to fly and I get very seasick. Could you build me a bridge to Hawaii so I can drive over there to visit?"

 

The genie laughed and said, "That’s impossible. Think of the logistics of that! How would the supports ever reach the bottom of the Pacific? Think of how much concrete...how much steel!! No! think of another wish."

 

The man tried to think of a really good wish. Finally, he said, "I’ve been married and divorced four times. My wives always said that don’t care and that I’m insensitive. So, I wish that I could understand women... know how they feel inside and what they’re thinking when they give me the silent treatment... know why they’re crying, know what they really want when they say ‘nothing’... know how to make them truly happy...."

 

The genie responded immediately without any hesitation, "You want that bridge two lanes or four?"

I bought T&C ring give a gal before, what is inside the box isn't impressive, is the packaging! Can any gal resist the light blue box with the nice ribbons?!?

 

Likewise, someone gave me a MB wallet, the packaging is very nice, I really enjoy unwrapping the present!
