eh whisper, ur bike okie liao arh? n u realli rode kyler for the full distance??? training for ur northern expedition arh... but ur fuel consumption is realli impressive. even for a stock ksr... but it might be abit off due to 2 reasons.

 

1) i rember the manual says ksr fuel capacity is 7.3L incl reserve, not 8L leh..

2) stock speedo is calibrated for stock tire diameter. urs is lower profile. so ur clocked distance is an over-estimation of ur actual distance travelled.

 

u might wana bear dat in mind man. dun wan u stuck halfway along m'sia highways without petrol due to miscalculation.

 

yah, monday went to press back the rim, cost me about $80 sia!

 

as for the fuel thingy, dunno leh, i rode until the reserve finish, then push to petrol station pump, manage to pump in exactly 8L. and the meter, from what u say, technically i travelled less distance than what's on my odometer, but that's due to the tyre profile right? but since the sensor gauges by the number of revolutions of the tyre, my bike's FC would still be similar, if i use the stock tyre profile? the only difference would be the actual distance travelled. maybe slight less, if the stock tyre profile adds weight to my current setup.

 

next time i change tyre then do another test loh

i understand how you felt.My effort of 1 and a half hours of washing and waxing was just washed down the drain by this morning's rain.Immediately wiped them off once i reached office's carpark.But seems like this coming rain would be heavier... I still thought the shine can last thru the weekend...

Hey peps...I've got a chalet (ok, its just a small room) at Downtown East from 06 to 08 October, and am planning to do a BBQ on Saturday night.

 

For Royston and those who wish to get burnt in the morning (hopefully it will not rain)... we could go to Wild Wild Wet
