Sprayed WD40 into the starter motor but the issue came back. Think i might need to check with the infamous 'Doctor' to ask him what he did to her during the last time i went there in that rainy day...

 

bro, can check out sim lim tower shops, got alot of them selling such bulbs. Get a 18/24W bulb for the front signals, much brighter.

 

alternatively, can find m400, one of the forumners dealing in LEDs. dealed with him a few times, reliable fella. I believe he has LED signal lights as well.

 

The WD40 method is only effective if your starter switch has er... "hardened". Most probable cause is corroded bulb contacts, or loose/melted connector if u have a headlight switch. I removed the switch on my ol' s4 totally after the connector melted a few times

which horn? ba bu ba bu , beep beep or porrrrrh~ya hor..tok bout horn...i need to fix mine too.i realised fz6 only can install 1 stebel horn...need to customize a bracket for the other.

 

can install twin, abit messy if u do it the mechanic way. The fairing behind the front signal lights can accomodate 1 on each side, but not easy to remove the fairings. I believe ur alarm system is inside one of the sides as well

any generic brands are good, but NOT legal! I would recommend stebal magnum horns, loudest @120db to blast at rash drivers, yet no legal issues. Best for using when u go through little india/ serangoon road on weekend evenings

no la. its just the connector that came off. my dad didn't have the right connector thingie. so until now its still not working. thought of using black tape to tape it down for the time being, but too much trouble.

things is, how often do you horn? and how long do you horn each time? horns do not drain batteries at all, neither does it shortens the lifespan of your batt. It only draws very little power, probably less than your headlight. I installed it on my bike too, and given the smaller capacity of my batt, yours shouldn't be a problem.

Wow - this time more challenging as distance is further.

Better plan the route proper to make it as less traffic junctions as possible. Another thing to take note, in riding convoy for longer distances, there's a tendency to get sleepy.

 

I'd advise to do at least one trial ride so as to minimize any hiccup. I can't make it for this convoy this time

 

Also plan for wet-weather.

by installin the horn behind signal is a gd ideal...but i took 1/2hr to remove the fairings...2ndly my alarm is uder my seats...lolx.think i stick to 1horn bah..thanx.
