heh, fz1 i guess for touring n more touring :lovestruck: very much wanted a vfr but the weight is an issue for me, plus riding daily to work, practicability not that good ba.

According to what U said, is a Frazer1 lighter than a VFR?? I thot VFR looks "small" and not that heavy. Sorry, I am not trying to suan you or be a ao-Lian King, but the reason why I think VFR is "small" is because I am looking at upgrading(if POSSIBLE...) to a ST or FJR.. That's why VFR is considered a "smaller" bike.

I am just asking around (or you can say I "kay-poh"ing around... heehee...) about others' opinions in upgrading to a Class 2 bike...

I definitely won't be looking at a Busa even though it is the fastest bike (Sorry, dE_mOd! No offence!! ) (Or has ZX14 won and taken over Busa liao???) cos I am a sucker for tourer bikes (ST type or FJR type)... :cheeky:

P.S The above comments do not mean to suan anyone, offend anyone or piss anyone off. If anyone feels a sense of offence, I apologise in advance first...

fz1 weighs about 200 slightly more.. vfr weighs about 220. i'm rather small size so... but again, it's still undecided. working and still a student now, cash strapped n time for touring is limited.

ST/FJR shaft driven, nice! no more lubing of chain n it's quiet too.

The '06 Fazer is more compact as compared to VFR. Wins juz checked out the weight of VFR and its approx 215KG. Tat's alomst equivalent to a Busa. VFR is small in terms of its capacity (800cc) and IMHO, its not worth the price to pay for tat cap. Ultimately, its still individual's preference. VFR and Busa are both cat as Sports Tourer, and the same goes to FJR. ST1100, STX, Goldwing are cat as Tourers.

Whether be it Busa's the fastest or ZX14 is, its still the rider tat makes the difference. And I'm still struggling to clear my Busa's meter... :giddy:

I was once thinking of getting FJR but due to the price and opinions, it stopped me. Maybe when I'm in my forties, might consider FJR again? :cheeky: Fazer was definitely one of my choices too but after some calculations, the price inclusive of all the accessories added doesn't deviate much from a Busa. Tat's y ended up gotten a Busa. It wasn't my so called dream bike but somehow or rather, I'm getting to luv it as much as my S4. :lovestruck:

--> Nah.. Go touring with Busa? Sure kenna "tia" by Busa one(like Raymond always friendly-suan me about my intention of getting a STx or FJR. "My Busa tia you ah...keke...")... Busa one throttle can over-take FJR and STx and let the two of us smell smoke only... kekeke...

Raymond ar.... he always like to tia ppl one lah.... Me steady steady.... Will keep in the pack most of the time unless engine's temperature getting unbearable and fan starts to kick in. Crusing at 140 to 200 is within my comfort zone. Beyond 200 can be quite tiring.

Good, if you can travel below 200km/h, at least we can tour together in future be it I get a STx (or FJR) or travel on my current love, S4...
