I noticed a hole on my rear tire. It seems to me holding air at 180- 190. I usually pump 200. I have not took a tire gauge to monitor the pressure. I am able to ride with it and it holds pressure well it seems. There are tiny bubbles leaking when I first pump and check with water. This would probably stop once the air drops a little as its still ridable the next day. It is in the center of the tire but bottom of the thread. Looks like a glass did it.

I found this leak during my routine check.

the tire is rather new. What should I do?

Should I plug it? It seems like it doesnt make a lot of sense to make a huge hole to patch a tiny leak.

Install sealant to seal the hole? ( where to buy and cost?)

I can do the above two myself

install mushroon plug from outside

install patch from inside? ( how much for this)

I hate to change such a new tire off. what is the advise?

the bike is a ta200 cruiser rear tire.

Yea but u have to go to a bike shop that actually does it. I wanted I patch my drz tire from inside las time at LAB but they don't do inside. Sien... So all the best finding one that does. Also mushroom patch is done from inside the tire. It's better than patch as it prevents water from corroding te belts in the tire and swelling up later on (not that I've seen it happen on a bike yet)

Thanks for the kind offer, I got that too,

I bringing the worm type kit with me with a small bike pump and will go riding to see if the pressure drops. The hole very tiny, hope not to poke a big hole with the tool to plug the worm. You think safe to use if plugged with the worm?

or tire sealant... but its messy.

Hey once again thanks for your offer. If you need help n you are in bedok... you can find me.

To comfort u somewhat. I saw a client of mine whose diavel was plugged with a worm very near the edge of the rear tire- 235 section mind you. And it wasn't done by some TDH shops ar. Agent did it..

But I also personally used my worm plugged tire on my drz till the tire was replaced due to wear. Used it for drifting burnouts doughnuts wheelie and the worm still there. That's one hell of a sticky worm I tell u..

I went riding to see if the pressure drops. I cannot find my tire gauge yet. so i had to use the pump to pump and see if it pumps. So far like ok. It seems to close the puncture at about 200 +-10 KPA. When put with detergent, it bubbles very slightly but somewhere alonmg the way I think it stops because after few hours later its still inflated.
