Thinking to get Uclear 100plusfor riding, can answer phone call, listen to music and GPS instruction. Anyone wants to share as I need only 1 set since its cheaper to buy a pair.

I found this from garage sales for the uclear HBC100, estimated price

 

"Only motorworld carry this item and selling at $360(brand new) for a pair and $220 for just one"

 

 

Motoworld has not get back to me for the pricing, anyway HBC100plus is the improve version of the HBC100, almost similar to HBC200 except it has shorter range 500m vs 700m and it dos not have the multi hop function. I guess the price range is between HBC100 and HBC200, expected to fork out at least $200 per person.

 

I chose the HBC100plus as its improve version of HBC100 and I only use the function for phone call, music and GPS voice direction and not using as a comm set for communication between riders.

Comparing HBC100plus vs HBC200, if the pricing is not much difference, I would like to get the HBC200.

I just got the HBC200 recently, the intercom works really well with my buddies who are also using it. As long as you are using a FF helmet should be good results. If open face, others may not be able to hear you well. handsfree picking up of calls is also really useful.

Sure thing, keep me posted man, cos a couple of my friends have the HBC200 and it's really good. Been thinking of getting it too, also abt 200 each.

Depends one what model.

I just bought Sena SMH5 at Regina for $180 a set. Theres a dual pack which cost $280.

Not really sure bout SMH10.You can call Regina directly.They'll tell you the price over the phone.

If low battery, the headset will beep you. Then its time to charge. I've used mine for almost 2 years. Been through all kinds of weather that Singapore have to offer. So far so good. Still in good working condition.

Have been using my HBC100 for quite sometime the battery life is great. Talking on the phone is clear and the other party could also hear me when riding. Best of all no mic is sticking out like other brand as I am using a flip helmet (caberg duke) and most time the chin bar is close.

we hv abt 8-10 users, the multi -hop does have noises...we collected all our units and got back to the company and they upgraded our 10 units software to version 2.19...yet to try out... will testing them during our Penang trip next weekend. As individual for music, incoming calls it is good.. battery life is also dammed good. went thru many heavy weather .. no issue.
