Actually, alarm is one important thing but best is add another loch at break disc, 99.9% safe. :cheer:

There is no use in friendship with an ungrateful person.

Anger comes as a result of intolerance.

One who can maintain peace of mind is happy.

Happy is he who killed his own anger.

just remember to remove the disc break when moving off.

and the 99.9% may only apply in singapore.

Someone juz tried dismantling my rear shocks during a stay over at my gf's place in Tampines. Lucky though 'cos I have the suspension lock at the top and changed my screws at the bottom, which will take tons of time to undo. They pried at the top suspension lock till it warped, stock screw was scratched too and now itz starting to rust. Damn those idiots!

wah, really angry to hear this kind of thing...

lucky you got the suspension protector... it is better ta have an alarm so they dont have time to whack your lock or unscrew anything....

Some folks will stoop to anything juz to steal something la. i think the creep have not seen that i have changed the bottom screws else Im sure he will not even bother to pry the top. Think better to go buy a disc lock as well.

On 5 Oct, back to the covered car park in Choa Chu Kang at about 1.00am, no parking lots available at the usually place, so I parked the bike slightly further away where there were few vehicles and people moving around. Woke up in the morning, I realize someone tried to unscrew the rear bike brake set & exhaust pipe of my S4. Already one screw was taken out n another loosened still in the screw hole. If not for alarm in the bike, my brake set and exhault pipe would have been gone, only lost two beautiful tire valve caps in the wheels. Made a police report at CCK Police Centre.

Which part of CCK u stay huh?

Luckily my side all open-air carparks...furthermore, I park right under the lamppost and hehehehe...and of coz, I got alarm with 2 bright bright LED to warn them - "THIS BIKE IS ARMED WITH ALARM".....see if they dare to do anything funny. Futhermore, my block is well-known to have all the civil servants....police, air-force, army, CID, teacher, lecturer, etc.....So many until I oso scare-scare.

Back in my younger days, I have a group of older friends of mine, they are professional bike-stealer. They spot a bike they wanna kapok, watever lock u use oso no use, coz they bring in those lorry that can lift ur whole bike and zzzzoooommmmm, they fly off wif ur bike within a short time frame.

Ever get caught? Not that I know of. They are still kicking when I last in touch wif them...

Becoz everyone is aware that there are a few version of the suspension lock/protector and some of those version really suxs, so easy to pry open and break it.....

Who dares to let me try? So far, I personally have seen 3 versions, one is so-called the motorworld version, one is SengKwang version, and one more is LAB version.....

Guess which is the lousiest? ;)

Catch my bike @ MotorX if I happen to be around lor...

Oh, dun assume I will be there everyday hor...I not reporting to work nor reporting to anyone there hor...

eh.. so is it possible to have the tilt sensor to be sold alone?? if so, how much will it cost?

Not possible coz the manufacturer made special changes like additional cables from the base unit so that the tilt sensor dun need a separate power source, plus some water-proofing on the tilt-sensor (mine is still prototype with no water-proofing on the tilt-sensor, which I feedback after using and manufacturer made the adjustments).

There is another way to have tilt sensor, but it will be messy and no water-proofing and even more expensive - use the tilt sensor meant for Cheetah Automobile. This method will require separate power source from the battery to the tilt sensor itself, then you will need to connect to the base unit for the trigger wire. Then there is no water-proofing. Next, it's retail at abt $48 for the tilt sensor alone.

singapore seldom see people doing this cos very easy being spotted...

but if you go Jb, it is better to chain your bike to lamp pole, police don bother if your bike stolen or what... 99% of lost car cannot be found, the malaysia police no time for bike stolen case.... knn.....

one more thing is, you know they steal bikes you still be friend with them? issit because they steal others bike so it doesnt matter to you so you dont bother? this is the reason why so many people's bike stolen nowadays... people see also dont bother....
