Hi all ,

 

im 32 y old,

 

today went to 3 motortiam asking abt X1-R prices...(with both e- n kick start 1,sport rim )

 

shop 1

total price = $5300 include IU, Insurance 2party ,free Box ,raincoat ,helmet .

 

shop 2

total price = $5200 include IU, Insurance 2party,free Box (raincoat n helmet not ask )

 

shop 3

total price = $4900 include IU, Insurance 2party ,free Box (raincoat n helmet not ask )

 

its this standard prices ??? O any other recommend shop ......need help pls ...thks a lot

Did you check out bike production? Is at 610 Seragoon Road.

 

I think you can get a lower price then that. And your insurance is cheap..

hey.. i am quiet confuse whether to add the e start anot.. some says must take very gd care of it as it drains the batt very fast and easy.. but once the e-start got prob.. alot of things need to change.. haiz.. some says should be abit better coz start le can go.. so i do not know whether wanna add the e start anot.. can give me any tips and comments whether to pump in that 200 for e start..

when i bought my bike at mah motor i got to choose betweem kick and e-start. 200dollars diff.

 

so you got yr bike with e start or the normal one without it.. does the e-start have clutch..

i got the kick start. machine 3k,so if e-start 3.2k lo machine. got clutch ba e-start,correct me if im wrong..

for all your worries throw them aside elect start or kick start up to you .

for me easy no elect starter and no sport rim as org as it comes.

1) take your $200 fix an iu unit, left some for coffee aft collecting bike.

2) or you can chg rims and tyres in jb for $200 = RM$450(somwhere there)

and still got some more $$ for somthing else...

 

its all up to you think what is better for you .....CHEERS!!!

PPL for all your worries 1st EO chg semi-sync , why ?

cos run in until 300km or 500km chg EO(semi sync) & oil filter ,spark plug leave it 1st.

 

2nd eo chg at ard 1000km, this time use full sync eo & chg oil filter & spark plug to either NGK racing or DENSO Iridium .

for 1st and 2nd eo chg try to Maintain speed of ard 80km to 90 km & rpm should be ard 4500rpm to 5000rpm .

this way not to stress out engine too much .

 

but aft 2nd eo chg can try full throt 2 to 3 times only .

 

3rd eo chg at ard 2000km , now chg oil filter & eo full sync & spark plug to either NGK racing or DENSO Iridium .

 

eo brands should be MOTUL or MAXIMA.

spark plugs should be NGK racing or DENSO Iridium .

tried and tested by most of us .so far so good .

 

for fully sync can run your engine until 4500km-5500km

compare to semi sync can run until 1500km -2000km

for Mineral oils 800km-1300km

 

for spark plugs norm plugs must chg every 2 or 3 eo chg

if use NGK racing or DENSO Iridium .

chg them aft 10 or 15 eo chg or every 20000km - 50000km

DENSO Iridium is good up to 80000km - 100000km

mine is wif e-start, paid $200 more for it, but no sport rim.

i asked HL whether possible to install e-start for those x1-r which came w/o, they said not possible, due to the extra spacing need for the starter that is not allocated for those non e-start machines.

 

i also enquired about the original sport rim (as i wish to buy from them so that can install tubeless), according to HL, their original sport rim is not suitable to install tubeless tire, reason being the wall to hold the tubeless tire is not really sufficient enf, he went on to show me the difference between x1-r sportrim and a 125 sportrim, those of the 125 have much wider wall to hold the tubeless tire. Can i confirm wif u guys the tire that comes wif ur original sportrim is non tubeless??

hey, slow ride.. dun mind if i ask yr e-start got clutch.. i am really cofuse.. whether to take the e-start or not.. does it requires alot of time to maintain..

like changing batt or whatever things need to change.. i thought e-start will be very convientent

mine come wif clutch, as mention by botak, i think x1-r all have clutch.

i don't have any problem wif the e-starter so far (maybe only 2 months old nia) but i do find the e-start really handy and convenience. there was once at traffic light, when turn green, engine stall due to not enf throttle, i quickly e-start(while still holding on clutch) and ride away.....:cheeky: i also like to e-start my bike while i can do other things like take out helmet from box to wear, can save 1-2 sec:cheeky:

i usually warm up about 1-2 min, but when moving off, i try not to rev to high, jus cruise along till i reach main road.

I alternate between e-start n kick-start, so that both is evenly used.

yeah e-start is $200 more. actually that time, can choose sportrim OR e-start at $200 more, i chose e-start as i think better to take original e-start better due to electrical component n wiring, sportrim can fit aftermarket one, my 2 cents.:p

an "uncle shop" at ubi. but i dont think my price is the cheapest. 4.5k w/o insurance

i mean if u have e-start.. u will have extra worries..

 

Everything will give u problem 1 day..

 

If u don't have e-start.. U will not have to worry that the e-start will spoil as it is not there...

 

Stall at traffic light, then just neutral and kick start.. the process is very fast.. Don't worry... Most driver usually don't horn at you(if with P-plate then lesser chance to be horn)... they can see u r trying to start your engine..
