hi guys, is 5.5k plus insurance a reasonable price?

 

looking at x1r or wave x. prefer x1r since its clutch type. anyway wats the fc like?

any major problems found with this bike?

how come overhaul so fast? hmm bt the electric starter i heard its better if u go jb to fix it..cheaper..if in sg i think its about $200+..n welcome to d x-1r family..hehe..

 

erm.. I asked the ASP salesman.. He said the previous owner rode till the engine oil dry up?.. he say the previous owner never change engine oil.. then need overhaul.. btw, how much is it to fix at JB?.. Thank you!

Additional info! if i'm not wrong you can use original X1 forks as it shorter compare to ours.You can try some other shop cause winyap things came not cheap.Don sabo me if i'm wrong as i was told by 1 of my friend because that time i also searching for downfork,end up cutting at JB Ah boy.

Hi, i got mine last year for 5.5k at universal motor at bukit merah with 2nd party insurance. I just turned 21 then and a p-plater. So if you're still below 21, just add another 250 or 150 bucks..that i'm not too sure.

Don't cry man..Don't add to the rain..Haha..I think its your insurance maybe that jacks up the price..Different company realli got big differences in their insurance prices.

hey any EXPERT !! fully or semi engine oil give smooth ride/less noise/ more mileage. since i want to change every 1.5k or 2k or 1k km. pour maximun 850ml rite. pour 1 litre engine noisy leh ...

Parts dat I wan to change or buy.

- Sports rims w/ tires

- playlife grips

- Yamaha racing katak

- Rear hugger

- short levers (clutch n brake)

- Chain guard

- flower or big brake discs

- big brake calipers

- wrap seat

-fork stablizer

 

If price not too much difference do in sgp better. example, JB sell 230rm=100sgd, den LAB sell 115+, still acceptable. But seriously, I dun trust LAB's workmanship. But heard that their rims n tires quite cheap.

Any recommandations?

I think 850ml or 900ml should be ok. And when you're changing the oil filter, add a bit more than usual. But 1 litre too much already. Fully sync definitely better in my opinion. Been using maxima ultra eo ever since! Very smooth!

wingyap is now selling the chain guard and hugger together at $48.... big brake disc sg ah boy selling at $65, fix on your own... for fork stablizer sg ah boy selling at $18 'yoshi'......

There is a shop beside jb ah boy selling the yamaha racing footrest at RM260... quite a few colours for you to chose.... wingyap is now selling the rear hugger and chain guard together '$48'. As for the brake disc sg ah boy is selling at $65. fix on your own de, fork stablizer sg ah boy selling at $18 also fix on your own.... the brand is yoshi... big brake caliper wingyap has a 4 pot brake plus adaptor selling at $200 plus. they also have 6 pot brakes also 'racing boy'....
