I thinking of getting secondhand daelim X5.

Can I know anyone know how the perform about this model?

Can someone advise me more about this bike?

Pros and Cons of the bike?

FYI.

 

Pros: better inperformance and power as it is 150, petrol saving.

 

Cons: X5 does not have any new ones, maintenance is higher as it is old bike, very heavy for a small cc bike.

Hi bro, i am currently riding a FBB Daelim Daystar x5. Actually the engine is 140 cc. This bike is really heavy both in looking and pushing. For me the major cons is the 13 HP power. Other than that, this bike is quite good. Stable, good looking.

I would not recommend this bike. Been riding it for the last 6 months after i got my 2b license, and already faced a lot of issues. The bike is not in production and only old bikes are available. Problem is there is only dealer for this brand in Singapore and when you go there for service, they would look for ways by which they can grab money from you.

 

About the bike, the max power and max torque are way too less for Singapore traffic. Looks wise you get the perfect cruiser looks, but with the pillion the bike struggles a lot to accelerate. Fc too very low. Only 27 kmpl.

i been riding x5 daystar for almost 2 years and i got no problem no repair except is the air filter get dirty and tire wear out this will happen in any bike however the top speed is 140 km per hour which is fast enough who say no power, since than i change to k and n air filter it reach top speed faster compare to stock, and i go cheng kok the agent they don't rid peoples as other think, the stock air filter cost only $20 plus original compare to honda phaton cost $30 plus original i always park at orchard coffee bean where there are lot of harley rider and lot of white man told me, is a nice cool bike and harley rider alway look at my bike

 

remember 140km per hour is fast enough and can kana fine since i change to k and n air filter i got better accelerate.and torque and the top speed increase

 

if you want a really fast bike than you get a sport bike not this chopper or any chopper

dailim daystar got everything both full and side stand all meter plus gas metre you can hand or kick start, last time i ride gn125 for last 14 year since i pay coe only $1.is a real lousy bike which really lack of power there is no gas meter and only hand start, i nearly get hit by car when my gas run out and it will stop at middle of the traffic, when i forget to change the battery the bike cannot start and i need to push like hell to the bike shop, compare to power comfort and look dailim daystar is far better than gn 125

it a nice bike very comfort and stable in top speed, i decided to renew coe when you bought this bike join me as a team for gathering as i always at orchard coffee and bean where lot of harley rider there and harley rider always look at my bike if part honda wave a uncle bike no harley rider will look at the bike even when i got class 2 licence and bought a harley fatboy 1584cc i will not sell this bike

 

when i bought this bike i will inform you how to change to k and n air filter which increase top speed torque and pick up the mech remove the air box and install k and n filter direct to the carp this will receive lot of power the mech do it for me for only $80. they do setting the oil and tuning which they test ride before they reset

ya it is heavy but i always win in race in highway to small bike like honda wave they always at my back since wave are light, remember heavy=stable light=unstable in high speed

i been riding almost 2 year there is nothing spoil except air filter get dirty and tire wear out and this will happen to any bike, the park are lasting because it make in korean the new dailim daystar 125 is really poorly make because it make in china
