I'm riding a 125cc Daelim Roadwin naked bike, not the cruiser-ish type like the one you're looking at.

One thing to make sure is that the bike that you're going to buy is problem free, as daelim parts can be expensive because it's from a sole distributor in Singapore, no matter what you'll have to go there to get spare parts, so it can be expensive, but it's definitely a unique ride as you don't really see daelim bikes on the road, I personally feel happy when I see one on the road.

Anyway are you buying it from direct owner or CKA?

Thanks a lot. I being checking prices from CKA and direct buyer. Can't make decision as I heard some of my friend telling me that parts are very expensive, no resale value and underpower when riding. But when I personally come to workshop. They told me is not easy to get problem if u do maintain on it.

I used to own the 125cc Daystar. its one bike which i kept for a very long time compared with my other bike simply because of its simplicity and "feel-like" big bike. i have never ridden the x5 (150cc??) but my daystar i used to send to the CKA shop in Ubi and also Bukit Batok. At Ubi , they are very quiet but the BB , the uncle is very chatty. i enjoyed sending my bike for service and repair there. parts are not too expensive if i compare with my piaggio x9 200cc.

if you got the licence nad extra cash, i would really recommend the 250 daystar. that one really looks nice and a bit more power.
