Demerit point questions

Hi guys,

 

I was caught speeding on march 2013 and got 6 demerit points. I pass my class 2 TP in june 2013. So after I pass my TP my points is reset to 12 points for 1 year? or will it be 6 points for the year? few days ago I ride at kpe there was a flash. I was going at 90km/h on the 70km speed limit .I think I am caught again. If i get 4 points this time what will be my points left after the probation period of my class 2?

Jan 2014: 2 / 12 (if u kena another 4 points)

June 2014: 14 / 24

Jan 2015: 24 / 24 (assuming u dun kena anymore summon from Jan 2014)

oh thank you. last time I thought after TP the points reset bec my friend told me that. alamak cannot get caught in anything until june or else my license kana revoke

TP reset the maximum point not your current point. that is why when you apply for learning school they always have this question asking if you have equal or more than 12 demerit points currently.

Kpe speed limit is up 80kmph, right?

 

When it was 70kmph I cruised at.80+ and got a warning letter. Relax wait for letter. usually above 15kmph then TP will issue fine.

no not all is 80km/h there is a small bend which is 70km/h. I travel at 90-95km/h when it is 80km/h. was too forcus in overtaking the cars that day. reach the 70km/h and didnt slow down, heard a loud snap and bright light. it's been a week still no letter.

maybe you just kena highbeam by the cars you overtook only hahaha.

no la should be the speed cam. the snap sound very loud. And i replay the the video i capture while riding can see the flash.

i ever see a car infront of me getting snapped at KPE but no sound leh... only see flash haha. i ever ride 90 past the camera but i was overtaking between the cars and didn't kena. i only realised i was too fast after i went past the camera.. heng ah

anyway thanks for the information. Until now havn't get letter should be okay already but that time confirm there was a bright flash. I already deleted the video if not I can post it, even my video camera capture it so confirm it is there.

not all part. after upper paya lebar exit. both direction. there is a bend only part which is 70km/h. I went pass there 90km/h for a week and nothing happen. suddenly kana speed cam. now i notice all cars passing thr that area will slow down.
