FS: Ducati Hypermotard Evo SP Ohlins Rear Shock (Stock item)

Hi all,

 

For interested parties: I have a stock Ohlins rear shock absorber from a 2011 Ducati Hypermotard Evo SP. As I understand this fits all Hypermotard models from 2007-2012, including the non 'S' models. The shock is original for the bike, has 18,000km on it and is in perfectly serviceable condition. Cosmetic condition is very good and there are no leaks or damage anywhere. The rear shock is still installed in the bike. Of course like any proper high quality shock it is fully adjustable for spring preload, compression, rebound.

I am advertising it for sale because I'm interested in getting an Ohlins TTX unit but I will only do so if I can sell the original rear shock as the TTX shock costs a bomb and I don't want to have 2 shock absorbers in case I cannot sell the stock one. If I can't sell it then I'm not upgrading.

 

I propose (on negotiable terms) that once you decide you want it, you pay a small deposit for it. I will then order the TTX (1-3 weeks delivery time) and when it arrives, have the stock shock replaced, then give it to you.

 

This isn't a desperate sale, the stock shock is excellent and I am very happy with it (but can always be happier, you know it goes if you're a compulsive bike modder) so please don't make insulting offers. Asking about 1.1K

 

Fitment is buyer's responsibility. If you want to ask "can it fit xxx bike" the answer is "I have no idea". You'll need to find out for yourself
