S4 for $12500 OTR w/o insurance?

hi ppl, i just went to Asphoon Toh Guan branch and got a quote for brand new S4 spec 3 for $12500 OTR w/o insurance. The interest is 5% a year.

 

Is this a good price??

 

Also, what freebies do bike shops normally give? Box?

 

Pls advice, thanks :)

May 2005 - July 2007: Honda Phantom TA200 (FU 3*** S)

July 2007 - Dec 2016: Honda CB400 Spec III (FBB 7***X)

Dec 2016 - Aug 2017: Yamaha FZ1N (FBD 4***E)

tt is cheap... include coe already? if is tt then cheap.. helmet.. cover.. raincoat... standard 1 la.. but.. box i think shld not be a problem.. better request earlier..

It is without doubt not the cheapest around.

Plently of shops are offering 4% interest for loans.

 

Btw, Bike production is offering 11.8k inclusive of 2nd party insurance (24yrs old) OTR w/o IU and at 4% interest.

OTR means on the road inclusive of rd tax and insurance..

So u do the calculations to see whether worth it or not?

OTR should mean "all in"....

 

All the charges should be calculated in already what???

 

Insurance, GST, Admin charges, IU, road tax... etc etc...

 

Make sure there isn't any other hidden cost...

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

 

1. Bow down slightly, looking intensely at objective

2. Like a raging bull, hop and jog slowly towards objective

3. Take your left palm and slap it hard on the right mid-arm with a SLAP!

u might aso wan to take note of the machine u getting is PI or BoonSiew(Agent) set.. PI will be cheaper.. but i tink getting agent set will be better if $$ wise allows.. juz my opinion.. :cheeky:

You'll have to ask them (otherwise they won't tell you) and they'll have to tell you (the truth)...

 

Getting the "Authorised dealer/agent" is better than those "Parallel Imports"...

 

Steps to do a proper KNNBCCB with middle finger.

HUH?! 12.5k OTR w/o insurance? Den dat wun be called OTR liao...U can find better pricing outside.

 

As many had mentioned b4, shops do 'chop', but questions lies in how dey 'chop' & will u feel satisfied aft u get ur bike frm them.

 

Considering the quotations dey giv u i believe the pricing at the end of the day will be more den 13+k depending on ur age. This wun be the so called OTR pricing u mentioned above. Nt forgetting u haven add in the interest if under hire purchase.

 

Think wisely b4 u purchased. Recce for more bikeshops to ask for quotations b4 u hand ur money to them. I believed u will see the difference when u seen more quotations.

Other than bike production, any other good bike shops can u all recommend mi??? esp those who just bought S4 or got good quote from somewhere

Try oso Mah Pte Ltd and Looi's Motor. Their price is really OTR one. If insurance is not included, how can it be considered OTR price?

 

Coz that day when i went to asp to ask about price they seems very busy and dun really bother to sit down and tok to mi hence they just told mi $12500 w/o insurance but all other things added. tink coz that day i wear short and slippers so they tink i dun have $$ to buy, just ask ask onli. hahaha. Also, the salesman didn't even attend to mi, the price is told to mi by the receptionist called melissa if i'm not wrong.

At 1st she thot i wanted to buy a 2nd hand spec 3 so she quote mi $4500 OTR for a 2nd hand spec 3 in the shop. Then i ask again saying, 'huh? where got so cheap? spec 3 leh? $4500?' but she insist she is right and onli aft telling her that i want to buy a NEW spec 3 then she say is $12500.

Getting the "Authorised dealer/agent" is better than those "Parallel Imports"...

 

For Parallel Import, the price is indeed lower. But overall should be the same. The only difference is when you bring your parrallel import bike to Boon Siew and you will see the difference in the handling charges.

then how much is boon siew offering???

 

Can i say that to buy from boon siew is 101% reliable although expensive??

Actually S4 is the best bike around. The parts are easily found and the repair can be done almost at any shop beside boon siew. I'm riding S4 now and I think for a S4 rider, you got to find you own TRUSTWORTHY repair/service shop
