anyone here before who had a class 2 bike without anymore instalment then trade in for a 2b second hand bike. i can see that he/she is going to lose much money as the shop will take in very little as they dun want to fork out the extra cash for us.

Issit true here? or anyone have any shops that still take in at a good price for this instance.

i got no experience pushing big bikes to exchange for small ones... but i think bike shops still do the trade in....

however, like you mentioned... it might not yield a good price afterall.

2nd hand bikes are hard to buy and sell for bike shops at times... they earn more from servicing and repair work actually....

Not all shops, some will cut down the price for your class 2 bike in order to earn.Try Loois motor.I traded my class 2 bike for a cub in 05.I take back cash for my class 2 and down a $500 downpayment for my cub.Insurance for the class 2 bike was refund to me in the next mth from them.Clear and clean deal. One of the best shop in singapore.I had brought 3 bikes from them already.
