Marina South I use to prawn fishing there...if got luck, three hours could catch ard 20something prawns, of course not everytime. My frenz once caught a prawn the size of the palm at marina south but it happen very rare. After all a great place to prawn fishing there.

Hi guys, been MIA from this forum for awhile.. I recently started working at this prawn pond at FarmMart. Not sure if u guys heard of it but anyway its at 65 Sungei Tengah Rd. Somewhere near Qian Hu Fish Farm.

 

Nice place to hang out on sunny days in my opinion. Anyway the charges are $13 for an hr and $26 for 3 hrs.

 

Directions are as folos:

 

PIE (Jurong) > KJE > Sungei Tengah Exit (1st exit) > left turn @ junction > straight all the way up the slope

Heard that there is monetary reward on every friday 7pm to 12pm for prawn fishing where you guys will attach some color tag to the prawn and each different color represent diff awards. Is it true ?

I dun think so.... i believe it will be the same as the other which is 24hrs

normally is 24 hours.

 

but have to know wat time more ppl more fun or wat time letting out the hungry prawn

it depend on luck n wat bait u use.... even they top up the prawn... the prawn will not immediately eat also mah... it take time lor....

Any techniques for catching prawns?!?!??!

I love to eat prawns but last thing I would want is to pay and not catch anything

and watch you people peng-kan all the way....

for me usally i go look 4 e prawn not wait till it get my bait... as ur float sink down means thers a bite... slowly pull the rod up till it tighten e line and shoot it up when u feel ur line is tight...

is not hard 2 get, just observe the pro and u shld pick it up fast.
